Right: Blank
Left: WOMEN: Four women--two in red-marked blankets, one in blue, and one in a black blanket--stand in a row. All have vertically half-red painted faces. One long black braid shows on all four, symmetrically, over the right shoulder. Blue dress inset panel tabs are seen below the blanket hems on all four. These are made of blue strouding, with undyed selvedges bordering the ends. All four have hoof-like, pencil-outlined feet with three bands at the ankles. The woman in the most dominant position, the viewers far right, has a black blanket and 2/3 of face painted red. The next woman has a speckled robe of vertical gray (pencil) and red broken lines (or fringe?), alternating. The 2nd to left woman has an all-blue robe, probably blue wool Stroud, a trade cloth. The most far left woman has a robe of all broken red lines or fringe. This is one of many groupings of people in a row that occur in this ledger.
Media: Figures are outlined in pencil, filled with red or black watercolor, or blue crayon.
